Life Changing and Regret Reading!

TBC

Book I regret Reading
Prince of Tides The best way to get yourself in a really low mood. Movie is actually much better, I thought.

Biography and Love

1. BIOGRAPHY
The only one I've read A Beautiful Mind (Sylvia Nasar) which is about the life of Nobel Prize winner John Forbes Nash.

2. LOVE
n/a

Historical and Enlightenment

1. HISTORICAL
All Quiet on the Western Front (Erich Maria Remarque)
"The story is told entirely through the experiences of the young German recruits and highlights the tragedy of war through the eyes of individuals." (Source TBC)

2. ENLIGHTENED
The Art of Happiness (His Holiness The Dalai Lama & Howard C. Cutler, M.D.)
"Buddhist meditations mixed with a healthy dose of common sense". (Sources TBC)

Crime and Nostalgia

1. CRIME
Body Double (Tess Gerritsen)
It is my first ever crime read and so far, so good. Am enjoying it as tube time reading and keen to see how the pieces of the puzzle fall together.

2. NOSTALGIC
The Rainbow Serpent
Just because I read it hundreds of times as a little tyke.

Travel and Humour

1. TRAVEL
Holy Cow: An Indian Adventure (Sarah McDonald)
"Sarah MacDonald left her dream job as Triple J's Morning Show presenter to join
her partner, an ABC Foreign Correspondent, in India... After catching double
pneumonia, nearly dying and suffering from unsightly hair loss...Sarah found
solace in discovering the mysticism of India's smorgasbord of religions" (Source TBC)

2. A book that made me LAUGH
Skinny Dip

Top 5 Books

1. My Sister's Keeper (Jodi Picoult)
It is a very thoughtful and non-judgemental character study. They became like family members to me.

2. The Art of Happiness (His Holiness the Dhali Lama)
Works as a spring clean of the soul. Though not used as stringent guide I find it quite uplifting/refreshing.

3. A Beautiful Mind (Sylvia Nasar)
Very honest and informative biography.

4. Kane and Abel (Jeffrey Archer)

5. Speeches That Shaped The Modern World (Alan J Whiticker)
Inspirational and thought provoking.
